Swedish garage-rockers The Imperfects are back with Doin’ Your Dirty Work, their fifth EP and a vibrant testament to the band’s unstoppable energy, hook-filled songwriting, and defiant punk spirit. Packed with gritty guitars, roaring saxophone, and the kind of melodic urgency only true rock lifers can deliver, the EP captures The Imperfects at their most confident and infectiously fun.

Formed by five musicians in their mid-50s who play with the fire of a band half their age, The Imperfects have steadily grown into one of Stockholm’s most loved live acts. Known for transforming every stage they step on into a night of dancing, singing, and unfiltered joy, they have built a dedicated local following drawn to their raw charm, punchy musicianship, and undeniable chemistry.

On Doin’ Your Dirty Work, The Imperfects channel the timeless energy of garage rock and punk through a distinctly Swedish lens—drawing inspiration from icons such as The Clash, Stiff Little Fingers, The Nomads, Paul Collins’ Beat, and other cult heroes of melodic, high-adrenaline rock. The result is an EP that feels equally nostalgic and fresh, blending catchy choruses, razor-edged riffs, and bursts of saxophone that elevate their sound into something uniquely theirs.

Whether on record or on stage, The Imperfects deliver the kind of sweaty, heart-on-sleeve rock ’n’ roll that leaves a smile on your face and a melody stuck in your head. Doin’ Your Dirty Work captures that spirit perfectly—unpolished, unapologetic, and irresistibly alive.
