Saints of Heartache have officially released their first full-length album, Everything Is Beautiful, And I’m Still Alive, a vibrant collection of alternative indie pop that blends driving guitar riffs, powerful vocals, infectious grooves, and unmistakable nods to the music of the ’80s and ’90s. The album is the band’s most collaborative and expressive work to date — a record built around memory, movement, and the realization that time may be the most valuable thing we have.
The inspiration for the album began with a collection of doodled journal entries from the ’90s — fragments of late nights, road trips, dance club sunrises, missed turns, youthful mistakes, and moments that only become more meaningful with age. Rather than simply looking backward, Saints of Heartache use those memories as a lens for understanding the present. “Everything Is Beautiful, And I’m Still Alive” follows a journey through nostalgia, celebration, growing older, and learning to appreciate the moments that once seemed ordinary. Each song takes the listener a little further down that path.
Never interested in being confined to a single genre, the band set out to celebrate the full range of their influences on this record. The result is an eclectic collection of indie pop songs that embraces alternative rock, pop sensibilities, ’80s textures, ’90s nostalgia, and the kind of hooks that demand to be played loud. And, most importantly, it’s an album meant to move.
