Emerging from the desert heat with a potent blend of punk energy and gothic atmosphere, Tucson’s own The Bat Bridge announces the release of their latest single, "Aristocrat Hypocrisy." Wri@en, recorded, and produced by frontman Michael Argueta, the track serves as a biRng criRque of the current global poliRcal climate.
"Aristocrat Hypocrisy" marks a turning point for the trio. While the band, consisRng of
Michael Argueta (Vocals/Guitar), Jeik Ficker (Drums), and Travis Brox (Bass), has built a
loyal following through a prolific string of 13 independent releases since their incepRon

Since late 2024, The Bat Bridge has operated as a true DIY powerhouse, with Argueta
producing the band's enRre catalog from his home studio. However, the Rde is shibing.
The band is currently transiRoning to The Binsley, a stunning new recording space
located in an old church in downtown Tucson, recently acquired by drummer Jeik Ficker.
The Binsley will serve as the birthplace for The Bat Bridge’s upcoming debut album,
which will feature reimagined, studio-grade re-recordings of all 13 of their exisRng
tracks and more.
Formed in September 2024 in Tucson, Arizona, The Bat Bridge blends the raw aggression
of punk with the ethereal textures of shoegaze and the moody aestheRcs of goth rock.
They are a definiRve voice in the Southwest’s alternaRve scene, known for their prolific
output and uncompromising DIY ethics.
