Mus-D Beatz returns with his powerful new single, “Underworld Descent,” an intense and cinematic release that pushes the project’s sonic identity deeper into dark, futuristic territory. Blending crushing modern metal, djent-influenced riffs, aggressive synth textures, cyberpunk atmospheres, and powerful female vocals, the track delivers an immersive exploration of inner darkness and psychological collapse.
Mus-D Beatz is the creative project of Denis Musiol, former founding member of the German death metal band Disbelief. Based in Switzerland, Denis has been releasing music under the Mus-D Beatz name since 2022, forging a unique artistic vision that combines heavy modern metal with cinematic atmospheres, aggressive electronic production, and dark futuristic aesthetics.
Originally rooted in dark pop and electronic music, Mus-D Beatz has since returned to his metal foundations with a refined and highly conceptual sound. His music merges modern metal, metalcore, djent-inspired heaviness, and symphonic textures with emotionally driven songwriting and immersive storytelling.
Recurring themes in his work include transformation, myth, chaos, doom, ritual, madness, and the confrontation with hidden aspects of the self. Rather than focusing solely on fantasy or horror, Mus-D Beatz explores psychological depth—diving into identity, internal conflict, and emotional collapse.
With “Underworld Descent,” this artistic direction reaches new intensity. The track explores a descent into the human psyche, where inner demons, hidden truths, and emotional darkness collide. In 2026, Mus-D Beatz also expanded his creative reach through the remix “Driven by Lust (Of Beast and Velvet)” for Incandescent Trance Ritual, further showcasing his ability to merge cinematic tension, dark electronic energy, and aggressive modern production.
