Sibling duo DUPLEXITY, comprised of Savannah Judy and Luke Judy, return with their evocative new single “Mercy”, a raw and powerful exploration of betrayal, loss, and resilience. Now available for pre-save and set to hit all major streaming platforms including Spotify and Apple Music, the track showcases the band’s ability to turn personal pain into universal storytelling.
Built around dynamic instrumentation and impassioned vocals, “Mercy” captures the inner turmoil of heartbreak and the struggle to move forward. The track’s poignant lyrics — “Bathed my body hundreds of times, but I feel dirty, out of my mind” — paint a visceral portrait of trying to cleanse oneself from the lingering scars of a broken trust.
“Mercy came from a reflection of our own experiences and the universal journey of realizing that you don’t always have to show mercy when someone hurts you,” says Savannah Judy. “We wanted to channel those feelings of anger and the resistance to forgive that often accompany heartbreak.”
As fans have come to expect, DUPLEXITY blends emotional honesty with cinematic soundscapes, weaving narratives that resonate deeply with listeners who have faced similar trials of the heart. The track balances vulnerability with strength, offering both catharsis and connection.
Alongside the single, DUPLEXITY will release a stirring official music video that visually amplifies the song’s emotional weight, available across all major platforms following the single’s debut.
Since their formation in 2023, DUPLEXITY has quickly gained a reputation for their emotive storytelling and powerful live performances, from the Sunset Strip in Los Angeles to NYC and beyond, most recently opening for Benson Boone on Rolling Stone’s SXSW Future of Music stage. With “Mercy”, the duo continues to carve out a space as one of pop-rock’s most compelling new voices.
“Mercy” is now available for pre-save and will be streaming worldwide upon release.
