Balkun Brothers have officially released their new album TWO LEATHER JACKETS, arriving on November 23, 2025, as a celebration of the band’s fifteen-year anniversary. After sharing the stage with iconic artists such as Gary Clark Jr., Joe Bonamassa, Johnny Winter, Melvin Seals, Dopapod, Anvil, Chris Robinson, and Gogol Bordello, the band enters this new era with unmatched energy. Throughout 2025, Balkun Brothers have toured from California to New York City, delivering explosive shows across the United States and solidifying their reputation as one of rock’s most electrifying live acts.
Two Leather Jackets was recorded at the legendary Sunset Sound Studio in Los Angeles, CA, with producer Keith Snow (Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Better Than Ezra). The sessions took place in the same historic room where Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, Audioslave, and Michael Jackson once recorded—captured using Prince’s own microphones. Released through Sony Music and Auto Bon Records, the album marks a major milestone in the band’s evolution and artistic ambition.
The new record follows the band’s 2024 live album, recorded to a sold-out crowd at Park City Music Hall and featuring Neal “Fro” Evans (Dopapod) and Tommy Weeks (Funky Dawgz). In support of Two Leather Jackets, Balkun Brothers have released two official music videos, including a brand-new animated visual for the high-octane single “Can’t Catch a Break.”
Momentum continues to build as lead guitarist and vocalist Steve Balkun recently won the Connecticut Blues Society Acoustic Solo Challenge and will represent the state at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN, this January. With the fuel of a new studio album, a rapidly expanding fanbase, and a year of intense touring across CO, TN, VA, NY, CT, MA, VT, NH, NJ, RI, CA, IL, OH, MI, and more, Balkun Brothers are gearing up for their most ambitious touring schedule yet in 2026.
