Trigger Point releases "A SILENT PROTEST" album on all streaming platforms

The album became a cult classic to heavy music fans. Trigger Point blended all genres of hard rock and metal into a sound that helped them jump genres easily.

Trigger Point released their debut album A SILENT PROTEST in 2003 on Corporate Punishment Records and toured nationally for years playing with the likes of 36 Crazyfists, Shenoah, Hatebreed, Motorhead, Meshuggah, Otep, Devil Driver, and more. The album became a cult classic to heavy music fans. Trigger Point blended all genres of hard rock and metal into a sound that helped them jump genres easily.

In 2007 the band recorded their long-awaited sophomore LP - Giving up the Ghost - produced by Shaun Lopez (Crosses, Far, Deftones). Even though the album was praised by critics and music fans, the band was unable to find a label partner for the album, and shortly after the band went on an indefinite hiatus.

A Silent Protest came out before streaming services existed and due to label obligations the album never made it onto streaming services. Now that the band has full control of the music they are answering the demands of fans around the world to finally bring this album to the masses. The band is re-releasing the fan favorite “Picking up the pieces” as a new single and will be releasing a music video consisting of studio and tour footage in the coming weeks.

“Picking up the pieces is one of the most meaningful songs on the album. It speaks of someone who despite being hurt and knocked down over and over again, they are still willing to pick themselves up and keep going. It was deeply personal to me then and still rings true now. Releasing this album has been a long time in the making and it’s great to give the fans what they have been asking for all these years.” -Taylor Wallace (Vocalist).

‘A Silent Protest’ is available on all streaming platforms:
