The Fair Attempts aren’t afraid to push the boundaries of their expression and their new
single “Tides Are Turning” is no exception. With dark, gothy overtones laying the
foundation, this soft rock piece is not even attempting to conform to the genre norms.
“I made this to be more of a statement, or an open invitation,” says Friendly Timo, the
artist behind the band. “I wrote it essentially for my own funeral.”
Expect no celebration with these themes. Better times are behind us.
