Thrash metal power trio Lomor return with their new single “Tantine Lo Clou”, a fast, aggressive track inspired by a truly awkward real-life moment experienced during the band’s first French tour in 2023. The song captures an unforgettable encounter at one of their shows, when a particularly outspoken “Tantine” shared some extremely uncomfortable remarks with the band’s merch seller — an episode best left unexplained, but perfectly transformed into razor-sharp thrash metal energy.

“Tantine Lo Clou” is the second track revealed from Lomor’s upcoming sophomore album, Sabouk Rouge, scheduled for release on February 6, 2026, via RockShots Records. Staying true to their “pure thrash” roots while pushing their sound forward, the single showcases the band’s relentless intensity, sharp riffing, and biting attitude, paired with a growing sense of confidence and sonic maturity.

Hailing from Réunion Island, Lomor blend old-school thrash with punk and core metal influences, drawing inspiration from genre legends such as Slayer, Testament, and Kreator. Since the release of their debut album Perseverance of Sickness in December 2022, the band has built a dedicated international following, earning recognition for their authenticity, high-energy songwriting, and uncompromising approach.

The trio’s live reputation has been forged through notable performances, including opening slots for Pamplemousse and Mass Hysteria, as well as their Kanyar Tour across France in 2023. Along the way, Lomor also released the live album Live on Dock, sharing stages with acts like Akiavel and further solidifying their presence in the European thrash scene.

With “Tantine Lo Clou,” Lomor demonstrate a clear evolution in sound and attitude, setting high expectations for Sabouk Rouge. As anticipation builds for the album’s release, the band is already preparing for an extensive European tour in 2026, marking the next chapter in their fast-rising trajectory.
