The Haptics got together in early 2022 because of their mutual love of dark noise-filled post-punk music. FM is the culmination of that. The final song of the first album "second best" is a post-punk rock-tinged look at the dynamics of a modern relationship. A cynical portrayal of modern dating in the onlyfans era.
The band is formed by Andre (Drums), Jin (Vocals), Cam (Guitar) and Brent (Bass) are The Haptics. Based in Vancouver, BC, the band plays pulsating, dark and melodic post-punk music.
