Raging Lines, the captivating musical project of Sondre Thomassen Thorvik, is thrilled to announce the release of its highly anticipated debut album, available today, February 19th, 2026, across all major streaming platforms. Accompanying the album launch is the official music video for the track "Yamaha 237," a visually compelling piece produced by Scream Media and shot against the evocative backdrop of downtown Oslo.

Sondre Thomassen Thorvik (born 2002) is a multifaceted artist driven by a profound interest in every aspect of music creation. From initial concept to finished product, Thomassen Thorvik meticulously crafts his sound, combining his distinctive dark voice with self-performed guitar, drums, and bass. This hands-on approach allows Raging Lines to forge a unique musical path, characterized by dark indie rock and new wave sensibilities.

While Raging Lines' main project explores the depths of dark indie rock and new wave, early releases showcased a broader spectrum of influences. The project's first single from 2022, "Too Dramatic, Too Paralyzed," leaned more towards a post-punk aesthetic. Notably, editor Egon Holstad drew comparisons between Thomassen Thorvik's vocal delivery and that of Michael Gira of Swans, particularly in Raging Lines' track "You Stay Away," highlighting the raw power and intensity embedded in his voice.

Beyond his artistic endeavors, Thomassen Thorvik is also an accomplished professional in the music industry. He currently works as a freelance sound engineer and music producer for the prestigious Ultima Contemporary Music Festival and Newtone Studio. His expertise in these roles was honed through a 12-week practical immersion at both institutions during his university studies, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of sound production and engineering.

The music video for "Yamaha 237," directed and produced by Scream Media, perfectly complements the album's atmospheric sound. Filmed in the vibrant heart of downtown Oslo, the video offers a striking visual narrative that enhances the listener's experience, inviting them deeper into the world of Raging Lines.
