MAD SNEAKS has just released the music video for “Dirty Blood,” a new audiovisual project that reinforces the band’s identity within alternative rock while delivering an intense narrative about exclusion, pain, and liberation. Heavily influenced by grunge and the alternative aesthetics of the ’90s, “Dirty Blood” emerges at a time when a new generation has rediscovered the power of this movement, seeking less perfection, fewer filters, and more authenticity. The song explores what it means to be the “bad apple in the bunch” and learning to live with that without guilt. Rather than seeking approval, the track addresses the journey of self-acceptance and the freedom that comes with embracing one’s true identity.

In the music video, this concept comes to life through highly symbolic imagery. Masked characters, fire, shadows, and enigmatic figures represent inner conflicts, fears, and the fragmented layers of someone who spent years trying to meet external expectations before finally finding the strength to accept who they truly are.

Reinforcing the message behind “Dirty Blood,” MAD SNEAKS also chose to create space for real alternative talents to take part in the production. The video’s protagonists, Marcelo Bboy and Veronika Prana, were selected by the band itself with the goal of giving visibility to artists and individuals who often face exclusion due to prejudice, stereotypes, or simply for being different.

Formed by Agno Dissan, Amaury Johns, and Phill Andreas, MAD SNEAKS has been establishing itself as one of Brazil’s emerging names connected to the current resurgence of grunge culture and alternative rock. Recently, the band released the album “Incognito,” an English-language reinterpretation of a project produced by Jack Endino, a historic figure in Seattle’s music scene. The album follows an unusual approach for today’s market, being available digitally only on Bandcamp, while physical CD copies are distributed in limited quantities.

With “Dirty Blood,” MAD SNEAKS delivers more than just a music video—it presents a visual and sonic manifesto for everyone who has ever been labeled as different and chose to transform that difference into strength.
