Chilean band PRIMATES presents its first studio album, “PRIMATES”, a four-track album that encapsulates the intensity, diversity and rebelliousness that define this promising alternative rock band. The EP is a reflection of the collective creativity of the band’s four members, with each musician bringing their own vision, style and energy. The result is a sonic journey that encompasses elements of progressive rock, alternative rock, funk, reggae and even jazz influences. Far from seeking uniformity, PRIMATES embraces difference as a creative force.

“We wanted this EP to be an honest portrayal of who we are as a band. We don’t follow a formula. Each song has its own soul and that’s what makes the album ring true,” says the band. The EP closes with the single “Tiempos de Rock,” a track that is already starting to resonate with its emotional charge and direct message: now is everything, and it’s real. It’s a declaration against the superficial and a reaffirmation of the power of rock as anauthentic language.

“PRIMATES”

Formed in Chile, PRIMATES is an alternative rock band that refuses to follow the rules imposed by the music industry. With a direct and honest approach, they build their sound identity by fusing the rawness of grunge, the power of hard rock, the urgency of punk and the aesthetics of funk — creating an authentic sound full of personality.
