Legendary Czech Rock Trio Extra Band Release New Single “Festa Dos Mortos”

The legendary Czech rock group Extra Band, with a history spanning more than four decades, is back with a brand-new single: “Festa Dos Mortos”. Written especially for their upcoming tour, the track paints an evocative picture under a starry sky—inviting listeners to dance with memories and welcome the souls of the departed into their circle.

Blending heartfelt lyrics and a unique melody, “Festa Dos Mortos” emphasizes the importance of remembrance and honoring those who are no longer physically present. The song resonates across generations, weaving moments of magic, love, and connection.

While Extra Band’s repertoire has long been performed primarily in English, this release is special: sung in Portuguese, it represents a tribute to the band’s Brazilian audience. The single will make its live debut during the opening concert of the new tour, where fans will be invited to celebrate together in a moment that unites past and present.
