It’s All Red releases new single “Pertencimento” featuring Humberto Gessinger

Brazilian rock icon Humberto Gessinger ventures for the first time into the world of heavy metal in a collaboration with the band It’s All Red. The result of this partnership is the track “Pertencimento,” which arrives alongside a music video filmed during the studio recording process.

“Pertencimento” is a prog-metal track that blends the weight of modern metal — developed by It’s All Red throughout the band’s eighteen-year career — with Gessinger’s unmistakable vocal signature, tied together by violins and keyboards that add a dramatic touch to the song’s theme. The lyrics are inspired by the stories of immigrants who came to Brazil, but in a broader sense, also embrace the struggles of refugees and migration as a whole — a deeply relevant topic today.

Humberto Gessinger contributed the lyrics and vocal melodies, while It’s All Red’s vocalist, Tom Zynski, added verses in English and German, completing the arrangement and the fusion of styles. The partnership with Gessinger was so fruitful that the song was split into two parts: the unreleased segment will appear on the band’s upcoming album, currently in production.
