Ryan T. James, known musically as Galvanic, closes out a breakthrough year with the release of his powerful new single, Not on My Watch. The track takes direct aim at authoritarianism and white supremacy, fusing blistering Thall and Djent influences with growling vocals, jagged guitars, and a surprising synth bridge that underscores Galvanic’s fearless genre fluidity.

With roots in blues and rock, Galvanic has built a reputation for music that shifts moods and melodies at lightning speed. Not on My Watch embodies this restless creativity: heavy, moody, and unflinching, yet punctuated by moments of unexpected electronic clarity. It’s a sonic statement that refuses to be boxed in.

This release follows the international success of Truth or Dare and The Surrender, which resonated with audiences across Latin America, the UK, and Italy. Together, these tracks have established Galvanic as a global voice unafraid to confront social issues while pushing the boundaries of sound.

“Sometimes the music has to growl, sometimes it has to shimmer,” says Galvanic. “Not on My Watch is about refusing silence in the face of oppression — and letting the music itself embody that resistance.” Not on My Watch marks the final release of Galvanic’s successful 2025 run. Fans can expect the return of his signature synth explorations in 2026, promising yet another evolution in sound.
