Emerging from the wide-open expanse of West Texas with a sound as raw and thunderous as the desert skies, Earthquakes and Thunder have released their latest single, “41 and 10”—a gritty, emotional anthem that captures the heart of American rock with an edge that’s uniquely their own.
The Midland-based two-piece is made up of Cory Enderby (vocals/guitar) and joe-el desjarlais (drums), a dynamic pairing whose chemistry is palpable in every riff and rhythm. “41 and 10” showcases their signature blend of desert rock, blues grit, and unfiltered storytelling—delivering a track that feels both intimate and explosive.
“We wanted to write something that hit hard, both musically and emotionally,” says Enderby. “'41 and 10' came from a place of reckoning—about age, identity, and that moment when you're staring down the past and future all at once.” With desjarlais’ thunderous percussion driving the track and Enderby’s guitar lines slicing through the Texas dust, Earthquakes and Thunder have carved out a space that's bold, honest, and unmistakably theirs.
