Death metal band KALDEIRA release new full-length album "FOURNAISE"

Forged in the volcanic heart of Reunion Island, KALDEIRA storms back with their ferocious full-length album FOURNAISE , delivering a 13-track onslaught of death/thrash metal precision and raw, unrelenting intensity. Formerly known as The Hill Is Burning, KALDEIRA’s latest work cements the band’s evolution into a modern metal powerhouse.

Recorded at Sébastien Cahmi’s Artmusic Studio in Taradeau, France—known for collaborations with Akiavel, Impureza, and ACOD— FOURNAISE propels the band’s signature blend of crushing riffs, blistering tempos, and metaphysical lyrical exploration to new extremes. Fans will hear the primal fire of Reunion Island fused with modern brutality, reflecting influences from Sepultura ( Schizo, Beneath, Arise ), Immolation, Morbid Angel, and Aborted.

KALDEIRA’s transformation in April 2025, including a refreshed lineup and a reborn vision, is fully realized on FOURNAISE . Tightened songwriting, relentless aggression, and cosmic themes define the album, with artwork by legendary metal artist Pär Olofsson (Aborted, Exodus, Immolation) visually capturing the elemental fury that fuels the music.

Following the release of the single “Metatron,” which ignited anticipation worldwide, FOURNAISE positions KALDEIRA as a formidable force in the international metal community.
