ANCESTRAL SIN: Dutch Hardcore Veterans Return with Ferocious New EP Next of Sin

After decades of mayhem in the underground scene, Dutch hardcore legends return in full force with their latest release, Next of Sin — a four-track EP that slams from punk to grindcore with unrelenting speed and attitude.

Formed in 1989, these Dutch matadors blazed a trail through the ‘90s with a barrage of albums, demos, splits, and compilations before taking a long hiatus. The fire was reignited in 2018 with the addition of drummer Ragnar (My Minds Mine, Inhume), and the band hasn’t looked back since. Their 2022 full-length Social Hate Speech proved they were still razor-sharp and sonically brutal.

Now, Next of Sin takes that raw energy and condenses it into a tightly packed vinyl/CD experience. The CD version drops on December 20, 2024 via DanceHard Records, with the 10-inch vinyl landing May 20, 2025, co-released by Oblivion Records and DanceHard Records.
