The Modern Symphonic Black Metal project intends to innovate the extreme scenario with compositions that unite the style's roots with the most modern techniques for guitar and orchestration
Modern Symphonic Black Metal project Puerignis has just released a new single and video for "Virtual Luxury". In this, a somber, direct, beautiful and sincere atmosphere is about what man believes to be harmful in modern society.
Puerignis will release in April a new album with the composition of lyrics and arrangements with the proposal of a "Symphonic Black Metal" that encompasses many modern guitar techniques and vocal innovations with a dip in "Death Metal". From classic instruments like harpsichord and harp, to modern synthesizers and plugins complete this work with 8 original songs.
Lyrics that have a questioning, satanic and reflective theme about the way we interpret the world, permeate the project with a far-fetched prosody amid harsh and scatological words. Inspired by bands like "Dimmu Borgir" and "Cradle of Filth", author Cypher and the only instrumentalist to play the entire album, intends to modernize the scene with new arrangement devices and specific instrumental techniques, to bring a poetic experience, beautiful, terrifying and dark. About Puerignis Puerignis is the Banda de Cypher alter-ego of Nelson Rodrigues. The Modern Symphonic Black Metal project intends to innovate the extreme scenario with compositions that unite the style's roots with the most modern techniques for guitar and orchestration. Within the songs, the composer used harmony to give an even heavier atmosphere, without losing musicality. In the clarity of symphonic music and in the distorted sound of extreme metal is where the artistic direction of the composer can be found, who in his formative years at the music college dived deep, passing through these two worlds with the same passion.
