Belgium’s SAMER emerge as a visceral and uncompromising force in the modern rap-metal landscape, channeling raw rage into a dense and physical wall of sound. Blending low-tuned heavy guitars, massive groove, and unfiltered hardcore intensity, the band crafts a sonic identity that is dark, authentic, and unapologetically powerful.

Rooted in modern metal, SAMER’s guitar work draws from djent textures, sharp percussive attacks, rich harmonics, and rhythmic tension to create an organic yet crushing atmosphere. The drums, influenced by deathcore, reinforce the impact with relentless double bass, punishing hits, and occasional blast beats that amplify the band’s aggressive backbone. The band’s members bring substantial stage experience to the project. The vocalist and bassist previously toured across Belgium, France, and Switzerland with Dollsex, honing their commanding live presence. The guitarist has also performed with the rap-metal project Project Ill.

Behind the kit, SAMER’s drummer stands out as a versatile and highly accomplished musician within the Belgian metal scene, having toured with About Blank. Conservatory-trained in jazz drums and active as both a drum and piano teacher, he is also the composer, drummer, keyboardist, and vocalist for the symphonic death/black project Divine Conspiracy. His musical reach extends further through his involvement in the Belgian hardcore act Echoes of Nihil and the rap project Astral Journey.
