Guitarist and composer, Geoff Hall, release new single Opposing Forces from new album EFFECTS

After almost three years, the new album from guitarist and composer, Geoff Hall, is set for release. EFFECTS is a dynamic, instrumental electric guitar album that blends elements of Rock, Prog Rock, and Prog Metal to deliver memorable and well-constructed songs that have a cinematic edge.

"Opposing Forces" is the 3rd single release from my new album, EFFECTS. It is a heavy instrumental guitar piece, like all the songs on the new album, but it's got a heavier riff, bigger synths, and some technical guitar lines compared to the first 2 singles.

EFFECTS could legitimately be viewed as an instrumental concept album. It takes listeners on an immersive journey where each track represents an ‘effect’ or ‘impact’ resulting from an unspecified ‘cause’ which leaves space for personal interpretation. If these songs had lyrics, they would undoubtedly tell a story.
