Glassfield, the dynamic quintet comprising Ryan Harig (guitars), Tj Miller (vocals), Josh Moblo (guitars/vocals), Matt Younker (drums), and Britt Younker (bass), is set to make waves with their highly anticipated album, "Leave a Light On."
Founded in 2014 by Ryan Harig in his basement as a creative outlet to explore musical ideas on GarageBand, Glassfield blossomed into a full-fledged band thanks to the addition of Matt Younker and his garage. The band's journey took flight with the release of their "Unwrought Atlas" EP in 2016 and a split 7-inch in 2017, showcasing their raw talent and evolving sound.
Despite facing challenges during the pandemic and navigating through life's twists and turns, Glassfield emerged stronger than ever, ready to unveil their full-length album in early 2024. Titled "Leave a Light On," the album comprises eight tracks that delve into themes of loss, anger, paranoia, and the glimmer of hope that pierces through the darkness.
