Katras is a black metal duo from Kouvola, Finland with both members having over 10 years
of experience playing and writing for a variety of bands. The project was formed under the
shadow of the pandemic during the summer of 2021 with the debut single Raato released
just before new year’s eve of the same year and the debut EP scheduled to be released on
28th of October 2022.
The band’s sound is based on the classic melodic melancholy that finnish black metal is
known for, not forgetting the crushing riffs to drive the songs forward.
It is important to the band to produce everything involving the band themselves; music,
mixing, visual media etc. to keep true to their vision. All music is released under
Lamminkalma Productions.
