A Mosca, an experimental jazz-rock-electronic project, has released its debut single titled

“32 Porcos”. The track, which delves into noise, dissonance, and dark soundscapes, is a

raw and piercing critique of contemporary times, marked by the housing crisis, ruthless

capitalism, and widespread hopelessness.

The project has a live show scheduled at Escola Normal Porto on June 6, where “32 Porcos” and other original tracks will be performed live. Formed in 2024, A Mosca is a Porto-based band composed of Diogo Lopes on drums, Maria Ana Guimarães on keyboards, Sara Sousa on vocals and keyboards, and Tiago Nóia on vocals and guitar. They have already performed at Milheirós Fest 2024, Barracuda Bar de Roque, the IndieMusic Fest qualifiers, RCA Porto, and Blackbox do CAAA Guimarães, among other venues.
