Captain Silver Announce New EP “Gott und Vaterland” – A Rock ’n’ Roll Journey Rooted in Resilience

Saxony-Anhalt rock band Captain Silver, founded in 2013, continues their relentless journey with the release of their brand-new EP “Gott und Vaterland” (2025). Known for their authentic, driving Rock ’n’ Roll sound inspired by legends like The Rolling Stones, the band delivers five powerful new tracks that embody both raw energy and heartfelt storytelling.

The band’s name carries a deeply personal meaning. In 2011, frontman and founder Nico Borowski suffered a tragic accident that cost him his left leg. Out of this life-altering event, music became his path back to strength and purpose – and Captain Silver was born.

Musically, Captain Silver channels the spirit of straight-ahead Rock ’n’ Roll, laced with grooves and melodies reminiscent of The Rolling Stones. Depending on the occasion, the band also performs intimate unplugged sets, showcasing their versatility.
