London-based progressive groove metal band Secreum release their brand-new single "Metamorphosis", an explosive and introspective track that marks a bold new chapter in the band’s sonic evolution.

Blending razor-sharp grooves with emotional intensity, "Metamorphosis" stands as a powerful statement on personal growth, maturity, and self-awareness. Written over time and forged into a modern metal anthem, the song traverses through blistering heaviness, atmospheric calm, and triumphant resolve—mirroring the emotional and psychological transformation that inspired its creation.

Secreum 's trademark blend of crushing riffs, wild and energetic drumming, thunderous yet smooth bass lines, and narrative-style solos paints a vivid and dynamic landscape for the themes of individuality, perseverance, and the strength of the human spirit. The band describes the track as “a journey,” with a mid-section that offers a moment of introspection before building into a massive and cathartic climax.

Fans of Strapping Young Lad, Fear Factory, Gojira, and Malevolence will find plenty to connect with in Secreum’s latest offering. The single was produced by Nicholas Meeks at Ignite AMR , bringing modern polish to the band’s raw intensity.

In the past year, Secreum has built strong momentum, touring the UK alongside US act St October , supporting UK legends Evil Scarecrow , and sharing the stage with international powerhouse Infected Rain . Their international presence continues to grow with standout performances in Belgium (Death Row Fest Vol. 3), Istanbul, and Belgrade —and many more shows on the horizon.
