In April, the band For Heads Down will release their third LP. It will be released in America by Thousandislands Records and in Europe by Disconnectdisconnect Records. At the moment, the band has just released the new single 'Still'. With "Still", For Heads Down will release their second single from their upcoming album. The song quickly makes it clear what direction the album is heading in. Fast melodic riffs accompanied by harmonious vocals make all melodic punk rock fans happy!
In 2002, the band began to follow their passion for fast skatepunk and released three albums, at the time under a different name. After some personnel changes, they started the project For Heads Down in 2011. Their debut album Stormwarning was released in 2013. The 9 songs on the album are influenced by 90s punkrock/hardcore and also have many melodic parts. 5 years later, in July 2018, the second album “Resurgence” with 13 songs was released by the Skatepunk record label Melodic Punk Style.
The latest album will be released on April 19, 2024 by Thousand Islands Records (Canada) and Disconnect Disconnect Records (United Kingdom) and will feature 11 songs. The first single called “Guilty” was released on September 25, 2023, with the second single “Still” released on February 15, 2024. For Heads Down not only impress live with their melodic riffs, but also captivate listeners with his vocals in three parts. They have shared the stage with bands such as Ignite, Snuff, Belvedere, Venerea, Skin of Tears, Mute, Red City Radio, Jaya the Cat, Counterpunch, Ten Foot Pole and more.
